What is a Joint Examination Scheme?
ACCA has a number of partnerships with national accountancy bodies around the world which enables you to sit the exam component of a range of ACCA qualifications and also satisfies the exam criteria for the national accountancy body qualification. We call these joint exam schemes (JES).
If you wish to study for any of the Foundation-level qualifications, referred to collectively as Foundations in Accountancy and live in one of the following countries you will need to register under the JES: Barbados, Belize, Cambodia, Guyana, Jamaica, Lesotho, Malta, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, or Trinidad and Tobago.
If you wish to study for the ACCA Qualification and live in one of the following countries you will need to register under the JES: Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Cambodia, Cyprus, Greece, Guyana, Jamaica, Lesotho, Malawi, Malta, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, Trinidad and Tobago or Vietnam.
To register with the relevant JES partner as well as with ACCA, apply online or complete a Joint Examination Scheme registration form. You can get this from your local Joint Exam Scheme office. The form, registration fee and supporting documents should also be returned to them.
Please note: different closing dates for registration may apply, please check directly with your local Joint Examination Scheme office.
