hello, first of all congratulations !! as u have cleared one the most challenging course! in recent days CFA being popular.. however the value you get out of CFA program depends on ur future plans.. before opting note that - u have to start CFA as a fresher - u must have great interest and knowledge in finance as cfa deals with investment banking, portfolio management etc - CFA is very extensive and very challenging( even more than ca)..but dont get discouraged - CFA exams costs time( almost 3 yrs to clear exams and 2 yrs work experience) as well as money - low pass rates brief description: c~orporate Finance Sector You can opt for Finance manager position in Corporate. Where you can deal with Financial Management, Merger & Acquisition, IFRS, Ratio analysis and Dividend policy decision. ~Consultancy Service As of now this option is widely preferred by CFA students as it will give you diversified learning option. You can learn Investment Banking, Corporate governance, International Finance, Bridge finance, Valuation (Business, Brand etc). ~Stock/Money Market This is the field which is specifically for CFAs. You can have Portfolio analysis, Equity Analysis, Derivatives, Hedging, Investment policy, Dividend policy and like that. So you can ask for job roles which is suitable for above job description. and There is no exemption in CFA for CA
